A free internship search for business students. Share one link, and your students see internships near campus, the certifications their major values, and when their field recruits.
What students get
- Internships near campus. One search covers more than 300 employers' own career pages plus public job feeds, within a chosen distance of a ZIP code, up to 200 miles.
- Guidance for 23 business majors. Each major has a recruiting timeline, resume keywords and its certifications, 231 in all, each clearly labeled by cost.
- An application tracker. Students follow each internship from saved to offer and can get a reminder the day before a deadline or interview.
- Interview practice. 48 common interview questions across 6 fields.
It is free for students, and searching needs no account. It works alongside Handshake rather than replacing it, adding internships that are posted only on companies' own career pages.
Student privacy
- Your office never shares student records with us, and we never ask for them.
- An account needs only an email address and a password, and passwords are stored as salted hashes.
- Nothing is sold, there are no ads and there are no tracking cookies.
- Students can download everything they have saved, or delete their account, at any time.
The privacy policy and terms are written in plain English.
Accessibility
The site aims for WCAG 2.2 level AA and is checked before each release with automated tests on more than 20 pages, at phone and desktop sizes. See the accessibility statement.
Sharing it with your students
- A link for your school. We make a free link and QR code that open a search near your campus, such as
elevateinternships.com/?ref=yourschool&zip=campus ZIP. Put it on your resources page, in a newsletter or on a flyer. - A usage report. On request, we send totals for your school's link each month: visits, new accounts, searches, internships saved and applications started. It never includes names or anything about one student, and any count from 1 to 4 is shown as “fewer than 5”.
Sponsored listings
Employers can pay to feature an internship for 30 days. Each one is reviewed by hand, labeled Sponsored and shown above the regular results, never mixed into them. Listings that ask students to pay to apply are refused.
