Aim for at least one, usually Exam P; two (P and FM) makes you a strong candidate. Put passed exams at the top of your resume.
What is VEE?
Validation by Educational Experience: credit toward the ASA for college courses in economics, accounting and finance, and mathematical statistics. You apply once you have passed two exams, so plan approved courses into your degree.

They overlap. Actuarial science is the mathematical side — pricing and reserving — and is built around the exams. Risk management and insurance also covers underwriting, claims, brokerage and corporate risk.
